Getting my degree means a lot to me. Although it is a lot of hard work, deciding to finally take the plunge is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and without the Open University, I’m not sure I would have made it.
I love that The Open University fits around everything else I have to do. There are monthly tutorials, but mostly I study when it suits me. I’m lucky that I’m quite motivated, so this isn’t a problem and I genuinely love what I’m studying. I’ve also found that I learn better when left to my own devices. There is nothing better than struggling with a particular section of work and then finally ‘getting it’.
I’m only just starting out and there is a long, long way to go, but I’m genuinely excited about it, which has to be a good thing, right?
