Well, this is the last day of the A-Z Blogging Challenge. Phew! There have been a few dicey moments, but I’ve done it. On the whole, I have thoroughly enjoyed it and I have learned a lot. Oh, and I’m shattered (hence the sleepy Zzzz – what? I was stuck!)
Before the challenge, my blogging was sporadic at best, I would plan to write a post, but the usual excuses rolled out – I didn’t have time/I had nothing to say – well, this month has proved these wrong. Sometimes it has been difficult to find the time. In fact, I slipped up on Wednesday by falling asleep before I had time to blog, but the other twenty-nine days I managed to squeeze in time.
As for having nothing to write about, I’ve learned that I usually can find something if I think hard enough.
Due to the lazy approach I took to my blog, my stats weren’t the greatest. I’m still not going to win any popularity contests, but I have noticed a definite increase in my viewing figures. I’m sure this will decrease slightly as the challenge ends, but I’m hoping some people will still stop by occasionally.
I’ve discovered a lot of new blogs and bloggers. I always mean to read more blogs, and the challenge got me into the habit of making time to do so.
With the challenge month now over, I won’t be blogging every day, but I vow to blog on average three or four times per week (including my Friday flash). I know I’ve said it before, but I’m now confident I can actually pull it off.
If you took part in the challenge, what did you learn?
